Included here: 1. Dataset S1 (lakes_data_final.csv) consisting of the mean annual water quality parameters (phosphorus, nitrogen, Chlorophyll a, and Secchi depth) for the 160 lakes selected for our analysis. 2. Scripts S1-S4 used for the linear mixed effect modeling. Script S1 (modeling_ban_type_P.R) contains the analysis investigating total phosphorus concentration in the lakes. Script S2 (modeling_ban_type_N.R) contains the analysis investigating total nitrogen concentration in the lakes. Script S3 (modeling_ban_type_Chl.R) contains the analysis investigating Chlorophyll a concentration in the lakes. Script S4 (modeling_ban_type_secchi.R) contains the analysis investigating Secchi depth in the lakes. More information can be found in the extended metadata file. Contact Information: Dr. Samuel J.
