Abstract

This is the first of a series of quarterly water quality assessments of the underwater cave system of Manatee Springs State Park, Levy County, Florida, USA. The data was collected by teams of cave dievrs euaipped with a YSI EXO3 datasonde recording pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen and specific conductivity. 500ml water grab samples were also collected at specific locations for analysis of nitrate-N, sulfate, and chloride as well as major cations.
