Abstract
Raw data on precipitation (monthly values in millimeters) for period from 1.01.1999 to 1.10.2020 were collected from 9 weather stations located in the Kampinos National Park. Kampinos National Park is located in central Poland in area of Vistula river valley. Precipitation stations names are: Izabelin, Dziekanów Leśny, Famułki, Kiścienne, Leszno, Pociecha, Wilków, Rybitew, Granica.
Raw groundwater level data were obtained from systematic observations carried out in the Kampinos National Park in the monitoring network in the 56 piezometers. Position of groundwater table was measured monthly and expressed as meters above sea level [m.a.s.l.]. Time series data covers the period from 1.01.1999 to 1.10.2020.
The data was used to assess groundwater drought patterns in a shallow aquifer using standardized drought indices (SPI - Standardised Precipitation Index and SGI - Standardised Groundwater Level Index). Systematic monitoring of groundwater and precipitation allowed analysis of long-term trends in the river valley, where infiltration from precipitation dominates. Standardized SPI and SGI indices, correlation analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis were used, identifying areas with different drought patterns.
