Abstract

This dataset contains the data for the paper titled "Exploiting fresh submarine groundwater discharge by cooling".

Data along the global coast.xlsx: Groundwater temperature, FSGD exploitation rate, fresh submarine groundwater discharge, FSGD exploitation, total available water resource, total water withdrawal, water scarcity index and population along the near-global coast.

WU2010.tif: Global distribution of total water withdrawal generated by an ensemble of global hydrological models (spatial resolution is 0.5°×0.5°)
