Abstract

This HydroShare collection provides links to HydroShare resources containing the geospatial datasets used in the FloodSavvy web application. FloodSavvy is a tool designed to pilot new approaches for accessing, analyzing, and visualizing information derived from the NOAA National Water Model. The web-based interface enables users to evaluate water-related risks, monitor streamflow conditions, and explore potential flood inundation extents.

FloodSavvy was developed in partnership with six communities in Vermont and Missouri. The Missouri partners include the City of De Soto, the City of Springfield–Greene County, and Roaring River State Park. The Vermont partners include Mt. Ascutney, Two Rivers–Ottauquechee, and Windham.
