Abstract
The Leeds Creek catchment, located in Southern Utah, was used to calibrate the SWAT model as part of the Quail Creek Reservoir project. The calibration focused on optimizing hydrological model parameters to improve flow simulations. Using SWAT-CUP, key parameters including CN2, ALPHA_BF, SOL_AWC, and others were adjusted to enhance the model's performance. The calibration process aimed to balance both low and peak flow predictions, with a target of achieving high R² and NSE values. The best simulation identified key factors influencing the hydrology of the Leeds Creek watershed, providing insights into the model's ability to accurately simulate flow and contributing to the broader analysis of water resources management in the region.
