Abstract

Electrical survey (ERT, CRP), multibeam sonar survey, and the sediments parameters were conducted offshore of the Laizhou Bay, China.

The three files attached below contains the ERT/CRP/multibeam sonar survey data and sediments types and parameters in the beach and neritic zone aquifer system in the south bank of Laizhou Bay.
1) Electrical survey raw data recording.
2) Multibeam sonar survey data.
3) Sediments types and parameters in the beach and neritic zone aquifer system in the south bank of Laizhou Bay.

In 2023, funded by Key Scientific and Technological Research Project, Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology & Mineral Resources (KY202206), Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities (201962005), and Open Fund of the 801 Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology (801KF2021-6), we conducted a survey to study brine-seawater interface of the muddy bay, taking Laizhou Bay as an example. The aim is to clarify the distribution regular pattern of coastal underground brine resources in the beach and neritic zone, and promote the understanding of the special type of seawater - groundwater interface and the discharge mode of offshore submarine groundwater.

The survey data is now available at HydroShare.
