Abstract
This submission to the Hydroshare data repository encompasses geophysical measurements conducted using various tools. EM31 and EM38 electromagnetic conductivity instruments were used to distinguish shallow clay, moisture saturation and caliche distribution. Gravity data was collected with a LaCoste-Romberg gravimeter and added to regional datasets and used with regional aeromagnetic measurements to identify depth to basement and fault locations, that control regional fluid flow. Surface total magnetic field measurements and magnetic susceptibility, contribute to basement geology mapping, fault mapping, and identification of coarse alluvial channel facies. Electrical conductivity, magnetic field, and magnetic susceptibility datasets were located with meter-accuracy approximate GPS. Gravity data were surveyed with cm-accuracy PPK GPS, and point to likely systematic errors in USGS DEM data to the east of the study area. The datasets includes data description pages which provide essential metadata. All additions to old regional datasets have added time registration suitable for monitoring temporal changes in the future repeat monitoring.
