Abstract

The Hydrological Briefing Console is a single-page web interface that gathers experimental and operational products used in the CIROH Hydrological Briefing and Outlook and organizes them by briefing theme. It covers products across nine themes: precipitation analysis and forecasts, synoptic and mesoscale analysis, streamflow and flood conditions, tropical cyclones and coastal hazards, drought conditions and outlooks, snow and cold region hydrology, climate monitoring and seasonal outlooks, regional information systems, and commercial and public weather platforms.
Each entry names the product and the agency, university or company that maintains it, states how often the product refreshes, and opens the live resource in one click. Consortium-developed tools are marked with a CIROH badge and placed inside the theme they serve. The console was developed as one of the activities lead by the CIROH Early Career Working Group for use during the CIROH Consortium monthly calls.
