Abstract
This resource includes hourly precipitation data collected by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA's) and downloaded from the National Climate Data Center (NCDC) from station located in Beltsville, MD. These data were collected to with the purpose of obtain important inputs for some further research about hydrologic modeling. Samples were collected automatically through code in Python. Methods implemented for sample collection and analysis are described within the resource.

Description: This folder contain hourly precipitation data for Beltsville, MD from 05/01/2012 to 05/31/2012 and python code used to download the data automatically from NCDC website. The code file could be opened in notebook. >PRECIP_HLY_COOP_180700.csv This file contain the results for the python program that used to download hourly precipitation data in Beltsville, MD, from NCDC website. It provdes information about station number, date, elevation, maxdate, mindate, latitude, longitude, name, datacoverage, and elevationUnit. >Download_precip.ipynb This python code is created and can be opened in Jupyter Notebook. The program helps to download hourly precipitation data based on the station number. The results are all in the PRECIP_HLY_COOP_180700.csv file.
