Abstract

We monitored five catchments (Reynolds Creek Outlet, Murphy Creek, Tollgate, Johnston Draw, and Reynolds Mountain East) in Reynolds Creek Experimental Watershed and Critical Zone Observatory (RCEW-CZO), southwestern Idaho for water quality using automated stream water quality sensors.

Stream pH, specific conductance, and temperature were collected using multiprobe sondes (OTT Hydrolab DS5 Multiprobe, Loveland, Colorado or TROLL 9500 Fort Collins, Colorado).
Streamflow was collected using stage recorder at the outlet of each catchment.

The data was primarily collected hourly with a short periods when data was collected at 20 minute frequency.

Support for this research was provided by the National Science Foundation for RCEW-CZO Cooperative agreement, EAR-1331872 and USDA ARS Long-term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR).
