Abstract

This resource includes air temperature, stream flow, and water temperature data from 21 Michigan streams in the Lower and Upper Peninsulas. These data were collected with the purpose of developing models to evaluate the relationship between downstream temperature change and a suite of hydrologic and meteorologic variables. For each stream, discharge was computed at an upstream and downstream location. Discharge measurements were made using a SonTek flow meter three to five times over the course of each year (2015 and 2016) for each stream to develop stage-discharge relationships for calculating discharge. Air temperature data was collected at either of the up- or downstream locations for each stream.
