Abstract
This resource includes water isotope data for precipitation data collected in Oella, MD. Storm samples are collected daily at 7 AM. Samples are analyzed for d18O and d2H on a Picarro L 2120-i or 2130-i water isotope analyzer at UMBC. Weekly composite values are derived by weighting daily isotope values with daily precipitation volume. Data are collected for the purpose of (1) comparison with other sites in the Urban CZ cluster; (2) determination of the local meteoric water line; and (3) in conjunction with analysis of stream samples, calculation of mean watershed transit times. This data set is part of the Urban Critical Zone Cluster in the NSF Critical Zone Collaborative Network.
