Abstract
The SWOT satellite completes its orbit approximately once every 21 days. Knowing when the satellite will pass over specific river reaches is critical for timing field measurements and correlating SWOT discharge estimates with observational data. This resource contains an Excel worksheet designed to allow users to calculate the timing of SWOT overpasses on a reach of interest.
