Abstract
NOTE: This resource represents the data as presented in Sidney Bush’s dissertation, working title: “Spatiotemporal Patterns in Hydrologic Connectivity in a Montane Headwater System in Central Colorado.”
Hotel Gulch is within the Manitou Experimental Forest. The area contains a series of alluvial and colluvial fans, indicative of historic debris-flow scars. Equipment is installed within these fans at increasing distances from the stream. Stream sites are measured along a longitudinal profile, beginning at the stream headwater and extending to the lowest site just upstream of the flume.
Precipitation was measured using a tipping bucket rain gauge (TR-525M, Texas Electronics, Dallas, TX).
