HydroDS, a system for hydrologic modeling web services, was integrated with HydroShare to support the web-based simulation. This resource contains results of 2 use cases for snowmelt modeling research, which were conducted to test the web-based simulation functionality for hydrologic modeling work.

- Use case 1: The UEB web app ( was used to prepare model input and execute the model for the Utah Energy Balance (UEB) snow model. The model input/output files, metadadata, and Python script for input preparation workflow are stored in HydroShare.

- Use case 2: The CUAHSI JupyterHub web app ( and the UEB web app was used to modify the input preparation workflow and derive new results. New Python code was developed in the CUAHSI JupyterHub web app and saved as a Jupyter Notebook to compare the snow output from the two use cases.
