The Description of each file uploaded is as follows. Please refer to the preprint to know more about how the data was generated. Models_optimised.csv Description The table contains the optimized model parameters for USGS Gauges under study. The unit of alpha is cm/month, beta is cm-1. The columns are as follows: - GAUGEID: USGS Gauge Identifier Number - Alpha, Beta – Model Parameters (of 2 parameter models selected) - Num_months_excluded - Number of months excluded during the training period - Lag - Lag applied on the Q-TWSA data pairs during the training period. Predictions.csv Description Table with gauge ID and Simulated Q’s over time. The column names represent the date corresponding to the predicted discharge starting from 2002-04-17, which is the date from which the GRACE TWSA data is available. The unit of the estimated discharge is cm/month. GRACE_TWSA_data.csv Description Table with gauge ID and TWSA over time. The table has area-averaged TWSA values with unit of 'cm'. The column names represent the date corresponding to the observations starting from 2002-04-17, which is the date from which the GRACE TWSA data is available. Rivers_network Folder Description This folder has the shapefile of the river network used (MERIT-Hydro, level 2). USGS_Gauges Folder Description The gauges used in the study for which USGS data was obtained from USGS NWIS.
