Abstract
This archive includes data used in Zhang et al.'s Water Resources Research (WRR) paper "The role of inflow and infiltration (I/I) in urban water balances and streamflow regimes: A hydrograph analysis along the sewershed-watershed continuum", which is under review currently. There are three directories that contain 1) hourly-scale precipitation data at one rain gauge in Milwaukee, WI, 2) hourly-scale sanitary sewer flow data in 17 sewersheds in Milwaukee, WI, and 3) daily-scale streamflow data in 18 watersheds near Milwaukee, WI. The sanitary sewer flow data was retrieved from Metropolitan Milwaukee Sewer District (MMSD). The streamflow data was retrieved from the USGS National Water Information System (https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis)

This archive contains three directories: 1) Hourly-scale precipitation data: This directory includes hourly-scale precipitation data in one rain gauge in Milwaukee. There are 2 variables in the data file: A) precip (48912x1 array): Precipitation. Unit: m/s B) timestamp (48912x1 array): Timestamp 2) Hourly-scale sanitary sewer flow data: This directory includes hourly-scale sanitary sewer flow data in 17 sewersheds in Milwaukee. There are 3 variables in the data file: A) sewerflow (48912x17 array) : Raw sanitary sewer flow data. Unit: million gallon per day B) timestamp (48912x1 array) : Timestamp C) sewershed (1x1 struct array): Properties of the sewersheds, including names, area (km^2), imperviousness (%), slope (%), and density of sewers (km^-1) 2) Daily-scale streamsewer flow data: This directory includes daily-scale streamflow data in 9 urbanized and 9 reference watersheds near Milwaukee. There are 3 variables in the data file: A) streamflow (2038x18 array) : Raw streamflow data. Unit: cubic ft per day B) timestampdaily (2038x1 array) : Timestamp C) streamshed (1x1 struct array): Properties of the watersheds, including names, area (km^2), imperviousness (%), slope (%), density of stream channels (km^-1), and density of sewers (km^-1)
