Abstract

This use case demonstrates how enhancements to the HydroShare platform enable efficient comparison of large-scale precipitation datasets, specifically NOAA’s AORC and USGS’s CONUS404. Using cloud-native tools and formats such as Zarr, we accessed, subsetted, analyzed, and visualized these datasets, ultimately publishing the results as reusable, FAIR-compliant resources on HydroShare. This workflow highlights how HydroShare supports scalable, collaborative, and reproducible data analysis in hydrologic research.
