Abstract
Floods, a prevalent global disaster, highlight the necessity of effective hydrological models for timely warnings. Operational models like GEOGLOWS aid in forecasting, yet challenges persist, especially in developing nations. Ecuador has been one of the countries where GEOGLOWS has been implemented. Also, in Costa Rica was the first country where we applied a pilot of Social Impact Approach. This information contains some examples for understanding the Social Impact Approach.
