Abstract
Garfield Park Eco-Orchard is a planned community-led green infrastructure installation on a vacant lot in the Chicago neighborhood of Garfield Park. The site is currently a vacant lot that will be redeveloped to include fruit and nut trees as well as a site-scale open-graded stone reservoir. Water level sensors were installed in catch basins surrounding the site in October 2021. One piezometer equipped with a water level sensor was installed on-site in July 2022. Monitoring of the site will continue after the site has been redeveloped and green infrastructure has been installed to measure changes in stormwater storage.
