Abstract
This study investigates rainfall(1-h), streamflow(1-min), streamflow dissolved organic carbon (DOC) (grab samples), streamflow specific conductivity (SC) (grab samples) and riparian soil water SC(1-min) across five storms in summer 2021 at Huanggou catchment, a small mountainous headwater catchment of the Danjiangkou Reservoir in Hanjiang River basin, central China. Streamflow was sourced from overland flow, subsurface flow and groundwater. Full-time DOC dynamics on fluxes and yields across five events were evaluated with coupling of SC-traced EMMA and DOC-Q relations of end-members. The study aims to provide insights into the event-scale DOC-Q of streamflow and two end-members, three end-member fluxes and yields of water/DOC during and between events, and shifts on DOC sources with antecedent condition and rainfall-runoff response.
