Abstract
This dataset combines long-term hydrometeorological monitoring with hydrochemical observations across six volcanic spring and stream sites (Arrieta, Ciruelas, Sacramento, Chagos, Danta, and Segundo) in Heredia, Costa Rica. The records integrate daily precipitation and stream discharge measurements spanning October 2014 to July 2026 with sampling conducted between May 2025 and March 2026. Water parameters include dissolved organic carbon (DOC), dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), stable carbon isotopes in DIC and DOC, and oxygen water isotopes. This dataset supports investigations into carbon transport, groundwater-surface water interactions, flow path dynamics, and ecohydrological responses in tropical volcanic catchments.
