Abstract

Soil sensors were installed to measure soil water content at multiple depths.
Hotel Gulch is located within the Manitou Experimental Forest. The area contains a series of alluvial and colluvial fans, indicative of historic debris-flow scars. Equipment is installed within these fans at increasing distances from the stream. Stream sites are measured along a longitudinal profile, beginning at the headwater and extending to the lowest site just upstream of the flume.

The following sites were active but were discontinued on October 15, 2024: MEF-HG-A-3up, MEF-HG-A-5low, MEF-HG-A-5up, MEF-HG-AB-3low, MEF-HG-AB-3up.

OVERVIEW

Description/Abstract

Soil sensors were installed to measure soil water content at multiple depths.
