Abstract
Data set to the submitted WRR publication “LES of flow through and around a finite patch of thin plates”.
The compiled executable file for Hydro3D is 3dFDM.exe. The input files for Case1, Case2 and Case3 are the compressed files Case1_input.zip, Case2_input.zip and Case3_input.zip, respectively. The input files for validation cases are putted into the folder Fig04, which contains the time series of force data (dp/dx) and the velocity points for Fig04. Inside the files folders of Fig05, Fig11, Fig13 and Fig14, data files are stored for the corresponding figures. Furthermore, the files in of folders Fig06 to Fig10 and Figure12 are tecplot data-link files corresponding to the figures showing contours. Only the data of the slice for plotting is stored in each tecplot data because the raw data for the whole computational domain is extremely huge. The version of tec360 2017r3 is recommended to open the tecplot files.
