Abstract
This dataset supports the Quantifying Ecosystem Losses across Dimensions of Space and Time (QuEST) project investigating nutrient dynamics under baseflow conditions in an agricultural non-perennial stream in a rural heterogenous landscape dominated by pasture/hay and forest area in Northwest Arkansas. This data includes monthly spatially intensive baseflow sampling of 20 sites nested across Brush Creek from October 2023-September 2024 for nitrate (NO3-N), soluble reactive phosphorus (SRP), discharge (Q), and flow state (F=flowing, P=pooled, D=dry). The interactive effects of agricultural land use and stream intermittency are understudied and thus makes our findings important in developing targeted management approaches as flow variability increases.
