ABSTRACT:
In this resource, we provide PDF documents of our major publications such as blog posts, academic papers, and reports. The blog posts provide snapshots of our project and key findings in a conversational and digestible format. The papers are academic in nature and, therefore, provide more detail on how we conducted our project, the theoretical lens we used, and what we found in more technical terms meant for academic or technical audiences. The reports provide are a middle ground between our blogs and papers. The reports focus on our results and offer more detail about the overarching themes from our project. From these, we also have a recommendation report that suggests action items for technical and non-technical users based on what we've learned.
ABSTRACT:
Included in this resource are the documents we created for each of the communities that took part in our study: Columbia, SC; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Fayetteville, NC; Harrisburg, PA; Rutland Co., VT; Williamstown-North Adams, MA. Each community has its own folder which contains: their community summary report, their community network map, the recording of the flood study webinar we conducted for that community, and the slide deck from the webinar in both PDF and PPT formats.
ABSTRACT:
This repository serves to document our research for the project titled “Optimizing Flood Warning Information Sharing for Local Stakeholders through Science Communication Research” conducted between 2023 and 2025 by RTI International and the University of Vermont.
