ABSTRACT:
This dataset contains daily groundwater and surface-water stage measurements for 17 wetlands in northern New York, recorded between October 2014 and October 2015. Hourly water stages were measured using U20 HOBO pressure transducers (Onset Computer Corporation, Bourne, MA, USA) at each wetland’s pool (surface-water stage, hsw) and in an adjacent shallow well (groundwater stage, hgw). The hourly data were then averaged to produce daily values, spanning Day of Year (DOY) 270 in 2014 through DOY 304 in 2015.
In the dataset, “NFW” indicates a non-floodplain wetland, while “FW” indicates a floodplain wetland. These classifications were determined by the presence (FW) or absence (NFW) of an overt outlet channel connecting to downstream waters.
