ABSTRACT:
This dataset contains the raw radargram files and results of processed 1 GHz ground-penetrating radar surveys conducted during a Spring wet snow survey at Ranch Creek, Colorado, USA on April 7, 2021. Data include the raw Sensors & Software ground-penetrating radar (GPR) radargram files and comma-delimited (csv) files containing the picked two-way travel times of the ground-reflector. Two-way travel times are not converted to snow depths or snow water equivalent due to the presence of liquid water content in the snow. This dataset was collected in coordination with a UAV lidar survey conducted by the United State Geological Survey (USGS). A nearby weather station, the USGS Ranch CR Meadow Meteorological Station (Station No.: 395448105453601) collected automatic snowpack measurements during the GPR surveys. A User Guide is supplied to help with data interpretation.
