Abstract

This is a collection of all exposure datasets and flood map extents used as examples in my Thesis to determine flood impact at Brigham Young University in year 2021. The purpose of this collection is to make available all data that was used in my thesis if one wanted to replicate my findings. My Thesis title is called _____________________. The flood maps used were derived from HAND (Height Above Nearest Drainage), SRH-2D (Sedimentation and River Hydraulics in Two-Dimensions), and SAR imagery (Synthetic Aperture Radar). The HAND and SRH-2D were created by Chris Edwards as part of his Thesis at BYU called "Forecasting Inundation Extents in the Amazon Basin Using SRH-2D and HAND Based on the GEOGloWS ECMWF Streamflow Services" (https://scholarsarchive.byu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=10264&context=etd) and SAR imagery was created using a method from Markert et al. (https://doi.org/10.3390/rs12152469) The exposure datasets were found at croplands.org, worldpop.org, and openstreetmap.org. The locations of interest are Inirida, Colombia; Chazuta, Peru; and Krok Phra, Thailand.
