Abstract

This is the 3rd of a series of quarterly water quality assessments of the underwater cave system of Manatee Springs State Park, Levy County, Florida, USA. Divers sampled water from multiple key cave passages while also recording real time environmental data using a YSI EXO3 datasonde, PME miniDOT, and Van Essen CTD data loggers. 500ml water grab samples were collected at specific locations for analysis of nitrate-N, sulfate, and chloride as well as major cations.
