Abstract

This notebook demonstrates how to access files stored in HydroShare through its S3-compatible storage interface. It shows how to authenticate with HydroShare, inspect resource contents using hsclient, connect to HydroShare data with s3fs, and use common S3 operations such as listing, downloading, uploading, and checking file size. The notebook also includes an example of configuring the AWS CLI to work with HydroShare S3 access, which can be useful for moving or managing larger datasets in cloud-based workflows.
