ABSTRACT:
This repository contains hydrologic data collected at three dairy farms (denoted A, B, and C) in Connecticut (location not denoted) focused around the 2022 growing season. This data is used to study soil water bypass in agricultural soils across hay and silage corn fields.
- Soil_VWC_Hydroshare.csv: Volumetric water content (VWC) measurements taken in triplicate at 6 depths (0-5, 5-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50 cm) taken biweekly from May to August 2022.
- Soil_Iso_Hydroshare.csv: Stable water isotope (18O and 2H) compositions for profiled bulk soil water samples (0-50 cm) taken biweekly from May to August 2022. Soil samples were collected in triplicate using a 5 cm soil auger. Samples depths were 0-5, 5-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50 cm, and denoted by the lowest depth.
- GW_Iso_Hydroshare.csv: Soil water isotopes (18O and 2H) compositions for groundwater samples taken at each farm from groundwater fed spigots or springs from May to December 2022.
- Precip_Iso_Hydroshare.csv: Stable water isotopic (18O and 2H) compositions of biweekly accumulative precipitation samples collected at Farm A using a container with a mineral oil film to prevent evaporative isotopic fractionation.
- Lab_Analysis_Notes.txt: Specifics concerning the laboratory procedures used to analyze the stable water isotopic compositions of the precipitation, groundwater, and soil water samples.

ABSTRACT:
This repository contains hydrologic data collected at the Horsebarn Hill catchment, a 36.5 ha active dairy cow grazeland basin with a large wetland center. This data is used to study soil water flow paths and growing season solute transport on sloped agricultural land.
- HBH_Catchment_Map.png: Figure showing the (a) regional location, (b) satellite imagery with basin delineation/sampling site locations, and (c) digital elevation model (DEM) of the basin.
- HBH_Groundwater_Depth_Data.csv: Daily average depth to groundwater at the 2" monitoring well in the basin wetland from April 2022 to February 2023. Daily depths were averaged (mean) from 15-min data collected using a Onset HOBO-U20 pressure transducer.
- HBH_Soil_VWC_Data.csv: Shallow soil (0-12cm) volumetric water content measurements taken biweekly at various sites along a west-facing hay hillslope from April to October 2022. Data was the average (mean) of 5 repeated measurements taken using a Campbell Scientific HydroSense II time domain reflectivity probe.
- HBH_Soil_Water_Isotope_Data.csv: Stable water isotope (18O and 2H) compositions for profiled bulk soil water samples (0-50 cm) taken biweekly at various sites along a west-facing hay hillslope from April to October 2022. Soil samples were collected in triplicate using a 5 cm soil auger. Stable water isotope compositions are the average (medium) of three samples. Samples depths were 0-5, 5-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50 cm, and denoted by the lowest depth.
- HBH_Surface_and_Groundwater_Isotope_Data.csv: Soil water isotopes (18O and 2H) compositions for surface and groundwater samples taken biweekly at the monitoring well in the basin wetland from April to October 2022.
- Stable_Water_Isotope_Analysis_Notes.txt: Specifics concerning the laboratory procedures used to analysis the stable water isotopic compositions of the surface water, groundwater, and soil water samples.

ABSTRACT:
This resource contains discharge and specific conductance measurements for a 34 ha urban/mixed use watershed (Roberts Brook Headwaters Watershed) on the University of Connecticut campus, Storrs, CT. Data was collected at a 5-minute interval over 180 days (11/20/2020 - 5/19/2021) as part of a road salt transport study. The monitoring station consisted of combination V-notch/rectangular weirs installed into (2) adjacent RCP conduits, Campbell pressure transducers, and a Campbell specific conductance sensor. Also included in this resource are the specific conductance correction equations, specific conductance/ chloride relationships and ArcGIS shapes delineating the watershed boundaries.
